Marisa Tufaro Foundation closes after transforming family loss into $500,000 of community support

The Marisa Tufaro Foundation has concluded its charitable mission after donating $500,000 since 2017 to support pediatric patients and children in need across Middlesex County, New Jersey. Founded by Cyndi and Greg Tufaro in memory of their daughter Marisa, who died at age 13 after battling heart disease and cancer, the foundation provided financial assistance, hospital support, educational programs, scholarships, and thousands of donated items. The nonprofit also funded initiatives with hospitals, schools, and community organizations, leaving a lasting legacy of compassion and service.
