George E. Norcross III–New Jersey political powerbroker and longtime board chair of Cooper University Health Care–has awarded $100 million to the Camden, New Jersey-based health care system to strengthen investments in education, workforce development and community programs across South Jersey. The donation, the largest in the health system’s 139-year history comes as Cooper adopts the Norcross name. The funding supports the system’s broader expansion, including its $3 billion Project Imagine initiative, reinforcing regional healthcare capacity, job creation, and long-term economic development.
