Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota raises $5M to match challenge from unnamed alumnus

Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota–a private Catholic university with 3,350 students–has secured a $5 million matching gift from an unnamed alumnus, generating more than $10 million in total support after alumni, benefactors, and community members met the one-for-one challenge. The funding will support the university’s long-term sustainability,  strategic goals, and bolster the school’s ability to expand access to its Lasalian education mission. The completed match is a major milestone in the school’s ongoing effort to raise $100 million to support future growth and priorities.
