The CareBridge Group, an Orlando, Florida-based healthcare financial operations firm, has announced a 10-year, $91 million initiative to establish a community coalition aimed at reducing medical debt and expanding healthcare access across Central Florida and the Jacksonville region. The initiative will fund emergency room triage support, eviction prevention, nutrition hubs, and telehealth access programs with initial “year-one” investments of $8.4 million alongside efforts to purchase and forgive patient medical debt and reduce uncompensated care burdens.
