Commonwealth University-Lock Haven receives $1.75M from alumnus for media entrepreneurship center

Pennsylvania’s Commonwealth University-Lock Haven has announced a $1.75 million gift from alumnus Nicholas Subich to establish a center for entrepreneurship and media. The award includes $1 million in immediate-use funding for renovations and construction of collaborative learning and media spaces and a $750,000 commitment supporting a new faculty position. Designed as a technology-driven hub, the center will advance entrepreneurship, media production, and career-focused experiential learning while strengthening campus-community partnerships and student recruitment. The project will enhance hands-on education and serve as a long-term resource for students preparing for modern workforce demands.
