The Alberta Cancer Foundation has announced a C$35 million ($25.6 million) five-year commitment to Cancer Care Alberta and leading clinical trial centers across the province, to expand cancer clinical trials and accelerate access to innovative treatments. The funding will strengthen research infrastructure, support new studies, including an advanced MRI-guided prostate cancer trial, and expand clinical trial capacity. The investment advances Alberta’s newly launched 10-Year Cancer Care Strategy, aiming to speed the delivery of promising therapies and improve outcomes for cancer patients.
