Free Admission for 25 and under at Columbus Museum of Art backed by Walter Foundation $4M

Columbus Museum of Art has received a $4 million gift from the Walter Foundation to fund Access 150, a five-year initiative aimed at expanding museum access and cultivating the next generation of visitors. Beginning July 1, the program will provide free admission to everyone age 25 and younger, as well as adults accompanying children 16 and under. Described as the museum’s largest-ever investment in access and education, the funding will also support new education-focused staff positions and the redesign of the museum’s family-oriented Wonder Room. Building on the museum’s Free Sundays program, the initiative is designed to boost attendance, broaden audience diversity, and strengthen long-term engagement with the arts.
