Foellinger commits $2M to expand Fort Wayne Boys & Girls Clubs summer learning program

Foellinger Foundation has awarded up to $2 million to support Summer Learning Labs in partnership with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Fort Wayne, funding a five-week academic and enrichment program for middle school students across Allen County, Indiana. The investment is a loan designed to be repaid through state-funded reimbursements, creating a revolving model intended to sustain the program long term. The initiative supports math and reading instruction alongside STEM activities and field trips delivered across multiple community sites. The funding approach is intended to align innovative programming with durable funding, ensuring continued access to summer learning opportunities for local youth.
