Matching the anonymous $9 million bid will direct equal amounts to the San Francisco-based GLIDE Foundation–addressing homelessness poverty, and substance abuse–and the Eat.Learn.Play. Foundation founded by Stephen and Ayesha Curry that focuses on child nutrition, education, and well-being. The collaboration revives Buffett’s long-running philanthropic auction series, which previously generated $53 million for GLIDE before ending in 2022.
