Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country $14M backs parks and watershed restoration after floods

The Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country has awarded a $14 million grant package to recipients across Kerrville, Texas, and the broader Guadalupe River watershed to support post-flood recovery, ecological restoration, and public park rebuilding following the 2025 floods. The funding will repair Louise Hays Park, Guadalupe Park, and the Kerrville River Trail in Kerrville, Texas, while advancing river basin restoration efforts across the region. Additional grants support the San Antonio Botanical Garden, San Antonio, Texas, for native tree replanting, along with regional conservation groups focused on flood resilience, habitat restoration, and long-term watershed management after widespread flood damage.
