United Way raises $27.7M to boost Lehigh Valley nonprofits, senior services, education programs

United Way of the Greater Lehigh Valley in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, has raised a record $27.7 million in support of regional education, housing, food security, and aging services across the region. Designated funds and tax credit contributions boost the annual fundraising campaign to $30.4 million. Fueled by major corporate and community contributions, the funding will support the activities of 751 nonprofits including education access for 43,000 students and families, basic services to 178,000 residents, and healthy aging programs for 8,000 older adults.
