With $5M to Louisville’s Norton Healthcare, legacy gifts top $98M patient care, research, improvements

Norton Healthcare in Louisville, Kentucky, has received more than $5.07M in new planned gifts from five families inducted into the 2026 Wade Mountz Heritage Society, bringing total commitments through the program to more than $98M since its founding in 2008. The bequests and estate gifts, each exceeding $100,000, support patient care, research, and systemwide improvements across Norton Healthcare and Norton Children’s Hospital. The legacy-focused giving model provides flexible, long-term funding, with current and cumulative gifts expected to benefit thousands of patients while strengthening healthcare infrastructure and innovation across the region.
