Saint Agatha Foundation awards $2.3M for breast cancer care in Central New York

The Saint Agatha Foundation in Syracuse, New York, has announced a record $2.3 million in grants to eight healthcare providers to expand access to breast cancer prevention, detection and treatment across 12 counties in Central New York. The funding will support advanced imaging technology, specialized diagnostic equipment, precision surgical navigation tools, tumor localization systems and radiation therapy upgrades designed to improve early detection and patient outcomes. The grants mark the foundation’s largest capital investment since its founding in 2004, complementing its longstanding support for direct financial assistance to breast cancer patients while broadening its focus to prevention and early diagnosis through partnerships with regional healthcare providers.
