Health Foundation of Central Massachusetts backs $1.1M child care effort to launch new providers in Worcester

The Health Foundation of Central Massachusetts has awarded a $1.1 million grant to Seven Hills Foundation, in partnership with Guild of St. Agnes, to launch the Family Childcare Success Project in Worcester. The initiative is a two-year child care business project designed to help aspiring providers launch and stabilize home-based child care businesses. The program combines training, space, and operational support to address local child care shortages and workforce gaps, aiming to scale sustainable, community-based early education capacity.
